Now here's the big bummer. My husband is forcing me to be surprised with the rest of our guests at the party. The only person who will know ahead of time is the cake maker. You guys know that my husband pretty much NEVER tells me no. Ever. That's why I am giving him this one. Even though the suspense might kill me.
Here is some pinspiration for the gender reveal party...
What is a Walkabout?
It's a blog link-up party, every week here and with our co-hosts! Simply put your blog address or a specific post in the linky, visit some other people, and make some friends. Easy as that! I can't wait to talk to everyone!
PS: You only have to link up with ONE of the co-hosts, it will link to all four!
The Rules
1. Please follow at least ONE hostess, and let us know you're a new follower and how you follow!
Chantal - Scattered Seashells
Jane - Taingamala
Sarah - G.I. Joe's Wife
Jamie - Handling With Grace
If you're a new follower of Handling With Grace, let me know so I can follow you back!

That is so smart! Now you'll know for sure. That will be exciting to be surprised with everyone else!
ReplyDeleteLove it ~ The cupcake idea with the gender colored frosting is SOOOO clever!
ReplyDeleteNew follower through GFC. I love the gender reveal ideas though my husband would never want to be surprised with the family. Maybe I can convince him on numero dos.

Very cute ideas! I attended a baby shower 2 weeks ago where they did the cupcakes but I don't recall being told of the baby's gender. I think they couple plans on waiting until their baby arrives. The cupcakes was just done as a game to see how many folks picked up blue versus pink cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteHA I love all those Pinterest ideas, especially the mustache/lip one!! So cute. You better take lots of pictures of this par-tay! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting. I think I'm the only chick out there not even close to having babies that gets so freaking excited about gender reveals. Can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! That will be so fun! I am so excited for you guys.
ReplyDeleteI love all the gender reveal party ideas and have debated doing that if we have another kid but I also really liked finding out the gender just my husband and I and then announcing it together so I don't know what we'll do next time.
ReplyDeleteI love those lips and mustaches!! So cute!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the mustache/kiss idea! Super, super cute! We didn't do anything for a gender reveal because, well...we don't have all that many friends here and I didn't really feel like throwing myself a party. LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this at The Vintage Apple, I loved seeing all the cute ideas! I am now following your blog and Pinterest boards!
