21 week bumpdate

Due to the overwhelming positive response, I will be doing every couple week bumpdates.  Please feel free to skip them if seeing a weird alien belly gives you the willies.  I have every couple week pictures from my pregnancy with Eva also so I will post those along with my current pics to see how different (ie bigger) my belly is the second time around.  I am 22 weeks pregnant today.

How far along? 21 weeks (ok, I am really 22 weeks now but I am pretending I am not a week behind)
Size of baby? Carrot
Weight gain? +14-17 pounds depending on the morning.  Still gaining rapidly.
Sleep?  I am waking up around 2am every single night and staying awake for what seems like EVER.
Best Moment of the Week? Feeling him jump, bounce, kick, punch, and do aerobics in my belly.  B can also feel him going wild in there.  
Miss anything? Not hating my fatness.  I am hungry and fat.  I miss not feeling stuffed, hungry and fat all at the same time.
Movement? Oh yes.  Any worries that I had about him not moving enough are out the window.  He is a very active baby.  
Food Cravings? Anything and everything.  I cannot get enough food.
Gender? BOY!
Name?  Still deciding.  I like formal names (Eva's real name is Evangeline.  I want a more formal name for him too that can be shortened).  We have a short list of names we like.  Nathaniel (Nate) is currently at the top of the list.
Symptoms? Pregnant (read that as fat, pimples, cellulite).
Belly button in or out? Hanging on by a thread.  Barely.  
Looking forward to: Our growth scan with the specialist tomorrow to assure us that he is still growing normally.  (For more information about why he has to be seen by a specialist every couple weeks, click here)
Next baby boy check-up?: Tomorrow.  Yeah, I have a lot of appointments.

  2. You are so cute! We are only 2 days apart in due dates, how fun!! I completely agree with you on feeling stuffed, hungry, and fat all at once. Sometimes I wonder how that's even possible lol.
    I hope all your upcoming appointments go well and your baby boy is growing.

  8. I would wish to be your size again but it would only cause me to repeat getting to my fatness again. :-) I do not believe I wish to repeat from carrot to cabbage again so soon!lol

  12. You look great, I don't see any of those pregnancy symptoms coming through at all. I am still suffering from the 2am insomnia as well, what is with 2am??? Good luck at your growth scan, I have my next one on Tuesday, looking forward to seeing proof that baby girl has grown (since it feels like she has doubled in size since my last one).

  24. I think your prob is that you are comparing your pregnancy now with Eva's. You were borderline unhealthy looking with Eva. Beautiful, but looked like you could use a few nutrients. Now you look glowing and healthy! Just know that you may feel "stuffed", but you don't look "stuffed". Like at all...
