It's the little things: Long walks around the lake because the weather finally permits. I over did it though and had intense contractions for the rest of the afternoon and all through the evening. I then proceeded to fall asleep at 7pm and slept for 12 hours. Not exaggerating.

It's the little things: Or not so little... We finally got the double stroller that I wanted. We chose the Phil & Ted Vibe double stroller. Love it.
***
It's the little things: Bed Bath and Beyond aromatherapy "Energy" lotion. Obsessed.
***
It's the little things: Running Kingston around the neighborhood when we get a break from the rain. Also, letting your toddler pick out her own clothes even if it means mis-matched socks, three skirts layered over each other and shoes on the wrong feet.
***
It's the little things: The smile on a toddlers face when you let them "zoom to the sky" in the space shuttle at the mall. It's so easy to feel rushed and ignore toddler pleas but why? Why NOT stop and allow our kiddos a moment of fun during our daily rush?

It's the little things: Movie night in bed from Eva's perspective.

1) Eva is so precious and so big now! WOW, just wow.
ReplyDelete2) I love seeing missmatched clothes on kids. It makes me think, 'yeah, their parents let them be them woohoo!'
3) I wanna sleep for 12 hours!

That is totally the stroller I would want to get! It seems a lot less bulky than regular double strollers!

ReplyDeleteLove this! But not the contractions. Be careful girl! Coming from the girl who has never given birth and knows nothing about kids or contractions. But still, be careful. :)
