Kingsmill Resort was gorgeous. It was quite pricey but our suite plus the resort's amenities were totally worth every penny. After the (almost 4 hour drive) we enjoyed the lazy river pool, game room, and restaurants on Saturday.

After a suuuper shitty night's sleep (who's great idea was it to bring a 4 month old on vacation anyways?!) we got up on Sunday and took the short shuttle ride over to Busch Gardens- Williamsburg.
(sweating our tatties off at Busch Gardens)
I wouldn't say that Busch Gardens compares to Disneyland but it was a nice break, anyways. The lines weren't nearly as bad as Disneyland, or even the county fair for that matter. We used the Waves of Honor military program to get in to the amusement park for free. There were plenty of rides for Eva. She even went on the "real" kid's roller coaster. That was the only one that she said was "too scary" after she rode it but in her true personality, she rode it again when B asked her to. We didn't get to go on any of the big people rides (damn kids) and the heat/humidity was sweltering but it was a good family day.
